Lower Snake:
Still catching a lot of steelhead. Last trip we had 13 to the boat.
Clearwater:
Fish are moving through daily. These are big fish. Hog Island has been hot. Two 18 lbs. fish caught yesterday.

- I've been a guide on the Snake River in Hells Canyon for 12 years. I was the youngest guide to get my coast guard's license at the age of 18. Since then I've driven boats through Hells Canyon for Snake River Adventures, where I'm a guide and captain. Now I'm taking the next step and becoming the proud owner of Clearwater River Guides. It's an enviable life, I know, and I'm lucky to live it. The Snake River has been my life, ever since my mother's water broke 80 miles up the river from Lewiston, Idaho. I've been on the river ever since, and now I've added the Clearwater to my list of navigated waters I love to be on. Whether it's fishing, hunting, driving boats, or swimming, I'm happiest when I'm on a river.
